Also you will have the opportunity to champion the change by joining in our mission of healing through humankindness.ARIZONA GENERAL HOSPITALResponsibilitiesAs a Respiratory Therapist at Arizona General, you’ll join an established team of RTs who share your passion in caring for patients experiencing breathing issues. Our Respiratory Therapists are highly trained when it comes to delivering specialized cardiopulmonary care including breathing techniques, ventilator management, nebulizer treatment, oxygen therapies, external ventilation support and some pulmonary function assessments.Your success in this role comes from a blend of your keen assessment skills and a sense of urgency. You have the ability to remain calm and focused in emergent situations. Your critical thinking skills enhance your care plans as you know what to do as well as the expected outcomes.Assesses delivers and documents respiratory care to include pulmonary hygiene and airway management and performs diagnostic exams as necessary. Manages all patients on ventilators and related life support equipment. Performs routine blood gas analysis. Assesses plans and evaluates the patient plan of care utilizing multiple respiratory modalities respiratory therapy driven protocols and advanced ventilation techniques.QualificationsMinimum:Required upon hire:(1) AZ Board of Respiratory Care Examiners License (CT RCP);(2) Certified Respiratory Therapist-CRT from National Board of Respiratory Care (CT CRTH)(3) American Heart Association ACLS(4) American Heart Association BLS(5) High School Diploma/GED and Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program RequiredPreferred:RG RRTPay Range$43.92 - $43.92/hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
