POSITION SUMMARY: The Safety Program Manager – Environmental Solutions (ES) is a key source of knowledge on health and safety regulations and applicable Company policies and procedures. The Safety Program Manager – ES applies expertise in support of the Company’s safety and compliance vision and strategic direction. They will support the efforts of the Company’s Safety Department by providing guidance and interpretation on health and safety regulations to employees across Environmental Solutions, promoting a strong safety and compliance culture through educating and training employees.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides technical support to employees across Environmental Solutions including Corporate, Area, and Business Unit employees on relevant and applicable health and safety regulations and Company policies, procedures, and standards.

System Administrator for EHS Database, currently Evotix.

Support Contractor Qualification Programs (ISNetworld, Avetta, PEC Safety) as needed.

Support 3rd Party Medical Management vendor, currently 1Source.

Responds to employee concerns and questions regarding Health and Safety compliance.

Assists other Safety Department team members in everyday activities.

Assists in the development of Health and Safety training course materials and conducts training programs as directed.

Develop and deliver effective communication strategies related to health and safety programs.

Identifies and addresses areas where additional health and safety training, support, or policy clarification is needed.

Assists the Safety Department in policy and Safety Management System development.

Maintain and update the SharePoint site as needed.

Provides support, assistance, and guidance to cross-functional departments on safety programs, development of standard operating procedures, and health and safety training programs.

Plan and implement change initiatives to processes and programs.

Develops on-going positive relationships with corporate, Area, and Business Unit management to foster a durable culture of safety and compliance.

Monitor and support department and field budget guidance.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Background and expertise in EH&S (to include DOT and OSHA) recordkeeping, reporting, and compliance.

Fluent in Microsoft Office programs.

Comprehensive knowledge of SharePoint, including site owner responsibilities.

HAZWOPER 40 hour and OSHA 30 hour a plus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

8 years Health and Safety experience.

Experience with Emergency Response and Hazardous Waste Operations.
