About the Role:

As our Salon Manager, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for every client. You'll cultivate a thriving salon culture by leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team of stylists and support staff.

This is a children’s salon, so an extra dose of patience, positivity, and creativity is key!

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a team of stylists and support staff to deliver top-tier service

Oversee all aspects of daily salon operations, ensuring efficiency and a welcoming environment

Manage scheduling to align staffing with peak hours and seasonal demands

Handle customer interactions with professionalism, addressing concerns promptly and effectively

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon in compliance with health and safety regulations

Oversee inventory and supplies to ensure readiness and minimize downtime

Track and report on revenue, costs, and other performance metrics

Conduct staff training, development, and performance evaluations

Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and emerging best practices

Serve as a liaison with the salon owner, providing regular updates

What You Bring:

Proven experience as a Salon Manager or similar leadership role

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills

Ability to lead by example and cultivate a positive team culture

Knowledge of hair care services and salon operations

Experience in customer service or retail management

Proficient in managing inventory, schedules, and transactions

Comfortable working weekends and evenings as needed

Unwavering patience, professionalism, and objectivity in handling staff and client interactions

Qualifications:

Valid cosmetology license is a must.

Ability to give haircuts – especially to children – is a major plus!

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

Wage is based on experience and job responsibilities, with higher compensation for licensed managers who also provide haircut services.
