The primaryresponsibilities include but are not limited to monthly closing procedures and preparation of accurate andtimely reconciliations for multiple accounts as well as the analysis of financial information.RESPONSIBILITIESProper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledgerPreparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations to assist with the monthly close processAnalyzing trends of revenues, costs, financial commitments and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expensesManaging intracompany transactions and resolving discrepancies between businesses including monitoring acquired entity AR (what we owe back to them) and submit for remittanceCompletion of all monthly bank reconciliationsResponsible for the full cycle of fixed asset managementPreparing and recording any required accounts payable accrualsEnsuring the general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers are reconciledOrganizing and updating financial recordsMaintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts monthly to meet processing and reporting deadlinesResponding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits ensuring compliance with GAAPAssisting the Accounting Manager and Controller as neededResolving accounting discrepancies and irregularitiesDeveloping and maintaining large sets of financial data with use of Excel and other tools to reconcile accountsFinancial audit preparation and direct interaction with auditors related to specific functionsAssisting with special projects and work with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) department withmonthly reporting and ad hoc financial analysis as neededOther duties as assigned
