About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Control Management OfficerIn this role, you will:Act as an advisor to more experienced leaders in developing risk mitigation strategies for complex and highly integrated business specific risk across different business lines

Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report impact of decisions and business controls to the relevant business group and enterprise function

Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex current and emerging risks requiring in depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, as well as good understanding of financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, and business process management

Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leaders on implementing innovative and significant business solutions for highly complex risks associated with business operations

Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls

Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies

Lead and mentor Control Management project or virtual teams

Engage with all levels of roles across the business group, and serve as an experienced advisor in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and controls that mitigate risks and address regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications, US:7+ years of Risk Management or Financial Services Industry experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:Advanced Knowledge of issue management policy

Knowledge and understanding of Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) such as reporting and issue management.

Understanding of enterprise risk management framework including risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance

Experience with tracking, monitoring and implementing corrective actions

Knowledge and understanding of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Internal Loss Data (ILD), and Shared Risk Platform (SHRP)

Knowledge and understanding of Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) such as reporting and issue management

Experience designing effective controls, issue management and supporting metrics and governance programs

Advanced knowledge and understanding of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)

Proven experience with conducting risk and process assessments

Audit or internal controls testing experience

Experience determining the root cause of identified issues

Knowledge and understanding of Regulatory Risk and Compliance policies and programs

Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls; additional experience analyzing business and/or systems changes to determine impact.

Ability to provide articulate credible challenge, influence and consult internally with senior leadership.

Strong written and oral communication skills

Experience coordinating multiple tasks within aggressive time frames

Experience in Independent Risk Management including Operational Risk or Compliance Risk management and mitigation experience
