Description:The

Senior Quality Analyst (QA) will work directly with application development teams, system integration teams, infrastructure teams, project managers, business users, and other project stakeholders on testing practices and procedures that adhere to the quality assurance methodology of the department. The analyst will also be involved in the creation and maintenance of test strategies, test plans, and test scripts. the manager is looking for more experience with testing in an Agile environment for this role

Job Responsibilities • Execution of the Quality Assurance process and methodology to produce QA-related project deliverables such as test plans, strategies, cases, scripts, and reports. • Manage and report on daily testing activities and metrics. • Coordinate with the Process Owner for the participation of business testers for UAT. • Ensure that all business requirements' test cases are written and executed in accordance with acceptance criteria.• Create integrated test scenarios with input from the Business Analyst.• Defect Management • Facilitate and/or participate in acceptance, system integration, regression. and user acceptance testing.• Participates in sprint ceremonies (daily stand up, backlog grooming, demo, retrospective, sprint planning) • Coordinate the timing of code migrations into test environments.• Recommends and implements process improvements. • Provides feedback on requirements during backlog grooming to ensure work is achievable• Ability to translate functional and technical requirements into testing requirements and scope• Working knowledge of Agile software development methodologies

EducationCompletion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.

Experience• 5 to 7 years of quality assurance/testing experience is preferred.• Working knowledge of quality assurance/quality management best practices• Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal• High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills• Test tools experience includes ALM Quality Center and test automation tools such as Micro Focus Unified Functional Test (UFT) is preferred.

Additional InformationThere may be occasional contacts with vendors of software, equipment, and services. Occasional travel to Client facilities. Ability to work effectively using the services of various organizational groups within Client. Depending on assignment, frequent requirement to work with confidential data.
