Job Title: Shipping Warehouse Logistics ManagerJob DescriptionThe Shipping & Warehouse/Logistics Manager is a highly skilled supply-chain expert and an exceptional leader, playing a crucial role in executing the company’s logistics and warehousing strategy. This position not only keeps abreast of industry trends to ensure a competitive edge in the marketplace but also oversees the comprehensive management of the warehouse, including all incoming and outgoing processes. The manager is pivotal in achieving operational efficiency and long-term strategic goals, making significant contributions to the success of large-scale events managed by the company.This role requires a manager who will be hands-on and 'get hands dirty'. This is a small team of up to 7 and there is no job too good for a manager to do.Hard Skills

Warehouse computer skills for data entry, tracking, planning, and logistics

Experience with inventory control and efficient shipping/receiving practices

Proficiency in 'Event Track' software for shipment tracking

Root-cause analysis for operational failures

Compliance with quality control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Soft Skills

Exceptional leadership and supervisory capabilities

Ability to hire, train, and manage logistics and warehouse staff

Effective staff development and performance evaluation

Strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Job TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Tempe, Arizona.Work EnvironmentStandard hours are 7 or 8 AM-5 PM Monday - Friday, but must be open to early overtime and later evenings due to FedEx. Busy times are around NASCAR and Super Bowl, so extra hours and weekends may occur.
