Job Summary

Lead Six Sigma consultant to support our bank with business process re-engineering. With significant growth over the years, the bank is looking to streamline processes, understand optimal usage of systems, reduce redundancies etc. Ideal candidates are Six Sigma Black Belts or have strong Lean practices with a focus on banking industry. Candidates should have strong communication skill as this is a senior level role working with business partners at all levels at the bank.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and optimal service delivery platforms across business lines
  • Recommend and facilitate process improvement projects with process teams to design and implement business improvements
  • Develop projection models for financial analysis of potential net income improvement opportunities
  • Provide financial baseline, measurement system plans, and monthly project results for each initiative
  • Conduct ongoing review of processes to improve efficiency and reduce non-valued added expenses
  • Design and lead process improvement training courses, mentor and transfer knowledge of process improvement methodologies and tools to associates
  • Facilitate the development of partnerships within business lines to advance process improvement awareness

Education, Previous Work Experience, and Other Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or closely related field
  • 8+ years with Six-Sigma, Lean, Lean Six-Sigma, SAFe/Lean-Agile, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Practical Agile project management experience
  • Practical experience with Organization Change Management
  • Strong ability to build partnerships and promote a sense of trust
  • Banking Industry Experience (Highly Preferred)
  • UI/UX design experience (Preferred)
  • Budget forecasting and financial planning experience

Not required but nice to have
  • Experience with low code/no code process automation or BPA tools such as Blue Prism, UiPath RPA, Nintex K2 Workflow, UiPath Task Capture/Process Mining, etc.
  • Experience with business process flow tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, etc.
  • Experience with Kanban boards using Azure DevOps, Jira or equivalent
  • Practical experience with Machine Learning/ AI processing
