Job Title: Software Development Project ManagerLocation: Phoenix, AZ or New Rochelle, NYDuration: Direct Hire( Fulltime)
Duties and Responsibilities• Expert verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group; developers, product owners, subject matter experts and stakeholders• Exercises delegated authority for planning, directing, coordinating, administering, and executing complex projects/programs• Clarifies and communicates project vision, goals and objectives • Manages project scope and maintains accurate program estimates, timelines, project plans and status reports• Manages and tracks team velocity, financials and relevant KPIs • Identifies critical resource expertise and targets internal and/or external partners for optimal outcomes• Possess understanding of application programming, content systems, API and database systems• Demonstrated experience in managing medium to complex software development projects• Recommend process improvements• Understands, tracks ,and articulates issues, risks, action items and works with responsible owners to address timelyJob Requirements/Skills and Experience• 6 years + of technical/software project manager experience with gradual increasing responsibilities and a demonstrated understanding of project management processes, artifacts and tools• Works independently to manage ongoing projects and serve as liaison between project resources and stakeholders• Ability to drive milestones with strong attention to detail• Understanding of Agile, SAFe, or other development methodologies• Experience with software development tools, such as JIRA• Demonstrated ability with people management, strategic planning, risk management, project change management• Experience in quality management techniques and approaches. • Cross functional collaboration skills, relationship building skills without direct reporting relationship• Strong oral and presentation communication skills to manage stakeholders• Strong sense of personal responsibility for exceptional quality work • Education Experience preferred Regards,Surya Prakash
