  • We are looking for a motivated, talented, and dedicated Database Engineer that enjoys working in a highly dynamic environment. Work side by side with some of the most talented Database Engineers in the industry where the Engineers work in a dynamic database environment on multiple database platforms.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • BS in Computer Science/Engineerin g (or equivalent) with minimum 4 years of database administration experience
    • Solid troubleshooting and incident management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines
    • Practice and deliver with Industry Best Practices for all database infrastructure
    • Effective communication skills
    • Experience with performance tuning, query tuning, troubleshooting, and driving problem resolutio n working in a team environment
    • Solid understanding of physical and logical database design
    • Understanding of middleware technologies as it relates to database connectivity
    • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server 2014 to MS SQL Server 2019 .
    • Experience with implementing mission critical databases .
    • Solid experience in managing multi-terabyte Data Warehouse databases, understanding of ETL (Extract Transform Load) , Business Intelligence, Data Partitioning and Lifecycle management.
    • Min. 4 years of hands on experience with SQL Server Always On and Availability Groups, back-ups, high-availability, scalability, disaster recovery.
    • Solid understanding of physical and logical database design
    • Deep understanding of networking and storage technologies related to databases
    • Experience working with SOX/GLBA/PCI regulated financial organizations is a plus.
    • Virtualization of Databases using VMWare hypervisors
    • High level understanding of core IT Infrastructure and their architecture (Storage, networking, operating Systems, etc. )
    • PowerShell Scripting, T-SQL Skills

    Nice to Haves:

    • Experience working with Oracle, PostgreSQL , or MYSQL a plus
    • Experience with Attunity Replicate is a plus.
