IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a SQL DBA to join our customer in Lansing, MI. This is an ONSITE position. Please find below additional details about this job. Job Summary:Position Justification(Why this resource is being procured and which Client's applications/projects/other areas this resource will be working on)The position is responsible for providing ongoing maintenance and support of complex SQL server databases containing applications dealing with several health care related information systems including, but not limited to Bureau of Labs, and other vital records MDHHS applications supported within our department. Covid Applications(ex:NewBorn Screening, Cancer Registry, StarLims ) are very critical and Highly visible. Changes are being made constantly to enhance the stability and functionality of several of these systems. The resource is integral to supporting the databases, processes, streamlining critical business processes, data integrity, SEM/SUITE compliance, and securing the applications. The resource performs as a independent DBA needing little help from other DBAs and expected to have decent knowledge of SQL server administration, all versions. As a technical lead, the resource participates in a variety of analytical assignments that provide for the enhancement, integration, maintenance, and implementation of projects. Not having a resource on staff will lead to MDHSS Highly visible Covid apps being unavailable at unexpected downtimes leading to statewide inconvenience to several healthcare units within the state of michigan and their customers.
