POSITION SUMMARY: This Senior Business Development Analyst is responsible for supporting the Market Planning and Development team, which includes gathering and synthesizing financial and operating information about potential acquisition targets, and gathering market and due-diligence data to analyze trends and help value acquisition targets and price transactions. The Senior Business Development Analyst will work with teams across the organization and report findings to senior leadership.PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides financial valuation for acquisitions and organic investment opportunities.

Creates financial models.

Drafts presentations and memoranda for a wider audience within the organization including senior Leadership and the Board of Directors and external stakeholders, including acquisition targets and the federal government.

Maintains business acquisition pipeline and ensures valuation templates are updated, accurate and timely.

Works with various departments and senior leadership to support transaction negotiations and synthesize due diligence findings.

Creates strategic market planning and implementation across the organization.

Assists with the development and maintenance of model templates, valuation policies and procedures, and due diligence work programs.

Develops and maintains department databases including, e.g., Salesforce.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent. QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 3 years work experience in accounting or finance – public accounting (Big 4 or Tier II National), investment banking, private equity, business development, transaction diligence or management consulting.

Proven knowledge of corporate finance including valuation and financial analysis.

Ability to apply the concepts, principles, and procedures of accounting and finance to business development.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Master's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Administration.

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar professional certifications. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.

Minimum of 3 years of related experience in business or financial analysis or accounting.
