Sr Help Desk Engineer Salary, full time position NO CORP-TO-CORP OR SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION Job Description You will act as the IT PROVIDER for the CLIENT. All work provided at the direction of the CLIENT and includes one or more of the following: 1.1 Initial Setup - Network system design, installation and configuration. This service includes setup of printers, scanners, internet service provider (ISP) accounts, e-mail setup and general consumer applications. This may also include transfer of documents, bookmarks and settings from previous systems. 1.2 General Maintenance & Repair - Routine hardware checks, software updates, OS updates and file-structure related services. 1.3 Hardware & Software Installation - On-site installation of hardware and application software. This service includes RAM upgrades, hard-drives, PCI cards and peripherals. Some specialty hardware and industry specific software may require custom pricing. This potential billing scenario will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. 1.4 Hardware & Software Troubleshooting - Isolate the cause of the problem(s) in the computing environment. Note: In some rare situations (such as hardware failure or incompatible hardware or software), issues may not be resolved. 1.5 Needs Assessment - Custom support regarding hardware or software purchases to accomplish specific tasks or business goals. 1.6 Systems Integration - Installation of hardware into an existing computing environment. Services include setup of any necessary software or hardware. 1.7 Network Security - Installation of hardware and/or software to provide reasonable network security and virus protection. Note: network security and virus protection services are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed to prevent network intrusions or virus attacks. 1.8 Data Backup & Data Recovery If requested, IT PROVIDER will develop and implement a backup strategy. If backup services are included in the work contracted by CLIENT, IT PROVIDER will manage and maintain that backup strategy at CLIENT'S expense. Data recovery services are also available. Note: In some situations (such as complete hardware failure, media failure or total data corruption) data may not be recoverable. In such event, CLIENT is still responsible for the time-related fee. Costs for data-recovery services will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. 1.9 Rapid-Response Service Remote services are usually delivered within a 15 minute to 4 hour timeframe. General on-site services are usually delivered within a 12- to 48-hour timeframe. Rapid onsite response service may be available at an additional cost which will be negotiated at the time of request. Temporary loan of hardware or other items may also be possible at an additional cost. 1.10 24-Hour Emergency Service - After-hours onsite service is from 5pm to 8am, Sunday through Saturday. IT PROVIDER will attempt to respond with onsite Emergency Service requests a one to four-hour timeframe. Additional fees may apply for 24 Hour Emergency Services. 1.11 Travel Travel costs incurred for onsite services outside of the greater Tucson, AZ & Phoenix, AZ area will be paid by the CLIENT. Cybersecurity & User Support Unlimited remote support, Antivirus software, Spam & Phishing Filter, Dark Web Monitoring, Cybersecurity Stack, update management, dedicated account team, & emergency service.
