We are seeking a Sr. Internal Auditor to perform and assist in supervision of internal audits, including reviews of various organizational and functional areas, as well as compliance with SOX 404 efforts for Management in order to assess effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and efficiency of operations by performing the duties noted below.

What you ll do at Insight Communicate with auditees before, during and after an internal audit and/or SOX process testing. Develops and maintains productive and professional client and staff relationships. Takes a lead role in developing a comprehensive, practical, audit program for each audit area to ensure objectives and goals are reached. Independently audits department records, department activities and interviews fellow Insight teammates to ensure compliance with Management policy and applicable laws and regulations. Independently analyzes processes and procedures within various departments throughout the company in relation to assigned audits to determine opportunities where efficiencies can be gained, and can make value-add recommendations for improvement. Independently analyzes data obtained for evidence of deficiencies in controls, duplication of effort, misuse of company funds, fraud, or lack of compliance with company policy. Communicates findings to Manager and proposes action plan to be taken. Proactively utilizes data analysis software tool where applicable in SOX and internal audit areas. Collects and arranges detail audit support in an organized and logical fashion. Takes a lead role with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts, primarily with the 404 interim and year-end testing procedures. Coordinates testing efforts with external auditors. Fully owns planning and wrap up phases. As required, assists Manager in supervision of audit staff and review of internal audit and SOX work product. Proactively communicates with Manager on work progress, schedule, conflicts, SOX deficiencies, and any other work related issues on a regular basis. Clears all open items and audit review notes in a timely fashion. Takes a lead role in evaluation of internal controls and detail findings and in the preparation of audit reports. Demonstrates Insight values and acts as a role model to Staff and Interns. Assists Manager in managing department Interns. Leads special projects assigned by Manager. Assist others in the department as needed.

What you ll need to join Insight Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university with a degree in Finance or Accounting, and two years public accounting or internal audit experience preferred. Familiarity with data analysis tools also preferred. Requires strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Requires strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work on multiple projects/assignments at one time. Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with all levels of professional and administrative teammates, both internal and external. Demonstrates analytical experience, strong problem solving, and personal computer skills. Accountable for completing assigned work projects within established deadlines and budgets. Ability to effectively present information to Audit Managers and VP of Internal Audit. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents and perform well in deadline-oriented environment. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to tailor written and verbal communication to specific audiences. Ability to make effective and/or persuasive presentations. Ability to work independently or as part of a cohesive team. Ability to provide constructive feedback to intern(s). Demonstrate initiative in managing workload and is proactive in requesting new assignments and/or assisting others in the department. Demonstrate desire for continuous learning and accurately apply that knowledge to the day to day work performed, including evaluation of complicated business processes. Up to 30% travel is expected, both domestic and international.
