Job Title: Sr. Linux Engineer/System Administrator Location: Phoenix, ArizonaDuration: Long term contract
Sr. Linux Engineer/System Administrator - RedHat 8 Automation EngineerJob Description: • 10+ year's of experience as Linux Engineer/Administrator (must have)• In depth knowledge of RHEL7/8,with strong administration and troubleshooting skills.• Experience in managing enterprise Linux production environment with 1000's of physical/VM nodes.• Recent 4+ year experience with Puppet configuration management tool (must have)• Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams.• Certification in RedHat Linux , will be an added advantage.• Python Scripting knowledge (must have), along with shell scripting/ruby.• Good knowledge of basic Networking (TCP/UDP/DNS/Subnets etc)• Strong understanding of init scripts, filesystems and other sysadmin essentials.• Experience with system management tools, logical file systems etc.• Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external teams.• Knowledge of Python/BASH required, prior experience writing python/bash scripts with 100's lines of code.• Python/BASH functions, loops, command line arguments• Certification in RedHat Linux will be an added advantage
