POSITION SUMMARY: Republic Services is looking for an ambitious, capable and experienced Senior Manager of Fleet & Container Operations to join our network of over 32,000 employees serving 14 million customers and over 2,700 communities across the United States. Under the leadership of Fleet & Asset Management leadership, the Senior Manager of Fleet & Container Operations directly orchestrates the management of vendor partners, automated warranty systems, maintenance processes, and training required to support a geographic regions human and equipment resources. Additionally, this role owns technical project management activities related to new initiatives undertaken by the team, ensuring that projects are delivered to achieve expected business benefit - on time, and on budget.Enjoy the benefits of working with a growing organization as we support one of the largest equipment groups in the environmental services industry. Join us and help make a positive impact on your community, your environment and your world.PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Owns performance management metrics and employee development for the equipment across your geographic region.

Travels to collections and container locations to embed maintenance programming & process.

Supports delivery of warranty value targets and improve processing & recovery metrics.

Manages dealer networks for timely capital delivery and maintenance support.

Organizes timely communication of system and process change and drive effective organizational change management procedures

Supports and guides business process resources in the documentation, refinement, and inventory of key field and corporate policies/procedures.

Develops and directs structure and rollout of field trainings related to fleet & container management & maintenance.

Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or related field.

At least 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance leadership.

Understanding of business process concepts (Mapping, Optimization, Lean Six Sigma).

Strong written and oral communication skills (executive presence)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management on a regional/national scale.

Demonstrated understanding and application of effective training procedures.

Demonstrated leadership ability to assist in the management of departmental projects and/or initiatives.
