Job Description:

Responsibilities:

This role is part of SVB's Operational & Enterprise Management Technology Solutions Group. As a Sr. Manager- Ops Risk & Enterprise Risk Technology, primary responsibility will be owning the end-to-end technical delivery for ORM, ERM & MRM capabilities including Systems design, development and delivery of Governance and Risk & Compliance Management solutions (ServiceNow) and initiatives for SVB and its customers.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • This role will lead implementation projects including ServiceNow GRC Technology Transformation (Issue management, Operational Risk Events, Risk Control Inventory, Risk Control Self-Assessment, Third Party Risk, Control Testing, Model Risk, Policy Management etc., ), and improvements from the conceptual design phase to the development completion and production deployment phase.
  • Develop, and enhance a technology strategy for Operational & Enterprise Risk which includes identification of key digital enablers of business transformation, and planning of integrated, cohesive implementation.
  • Build and manage relationships with key senior business partners, technology & delivery partners.
  • Lead engineering team delivery throughout the SDLC, leveraging agile processes
  • Recruit, develop, and manage a team of engineers and other technology staff, potentially including developing leading teams of technology leaders
  • Partner with business/product teams, engineers, and architecture to design applications
  • Ensure the team is applying engineering best practices, including delivery approaches, quality control, solution architecture, and dev-ops automation
  • Ensure applications are compliant with enterprise/technology standards and align with Technology strategy
  • Motivated, agile, and able to work independently in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Architect, design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Provide development leadership for medium to large sized projects and maintenance on our customer facing systems.
  • Drive technical designs to consensus and approval by Architecture Review Team.
  • Performs impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture, capabilities, system priorities, and technology solutions; looks for additional solution options or trade-offs. Identifies cost/benefit implications of proposed solutions (e.g., people, processes, technology, strategy, finance).

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of professional experience required within GRC (ORM, ERM & MRM) Domain Technology space.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Service Now Integrated Risk Management/GRC module or other related GRC Platforms RSA Archer, IBM Open Pages etc.,
  • 6+ years of technology engineering experience
  • 6+ years of leadership and people management experience in a technology environment
  • 6+ years of financial services industry experience
  • Experience in leading technology transformation initiatives for GRC.
  • Consistent track record of successfully crafting and delivering significant and impactful technology solutions within the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

\nBase Pay:$126,321.00 - $189,481.00

Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
