Own the execution of operations to achieve established targets and metrics within Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Organizational development.

Lead a team of Operations Supervisors and direct a cross-functional IPT (Integrated Production Team) to ensure business objectives and customer requirements are met.

Maintain compliance to all regulations, laws, and management system requirements.

Proactively reduce EH&S risks and promote safe behaviors in the workplace. Support all safety programs to include behavioral based safety and job hazard analysis (JHA); ensure that Operations is flawlessly executing all required safety programs.

Manage capacity, demand, & resource plans to ensure rate readiness and 100% On-time delivery to internal and external customers.

Support the Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process to ensure that adequate capacity and headcount are planned and maintained.  

Drive employee engagement, foster positive culture, and execute strategic workforce planning initiatives. 

Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability within the business interfaces, leading and motivating the team through the development and performance management of employees.

Champion Continuous Improvement using the CORE operating system and lean manufacturing initiatives such as Tiered Accountability, Gemba, Visual Management, Process Mapping, Kanban, 5S, Kaizen, & Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA).

Integrate tactical & strategic supply chain actions to ensure delivery and manage risk.

Support objectives for operating budgets, capital plans, and cost savings targets.  Ensure that utilization and labor efficiency are achieved, while sales output is realized. Achieve inventory improvements and reduce manufacturing variances.

Support the annual operational macro plan and ensure individual projects are implemented to resolve the problem, issue, or opportunity.  

Execute robust talent management and succession planning processes.

Ensure all training and skills are assessed to ensure no critical skills gaps.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience

Prior experience in directing multi-disciplined teams including a demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities

Qualifications We Prefer
