Sr Project Manager

Position Description CGI is seeking a seasoned project manager, with experience in process automation systems, CSV or quality manufacturing, to join our growing Life Sciences team in Phoenix, Arizona. Successful candidates must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and collaborate with CGI members and clients. Candidates will advise the client's manufacturing division. This position requires candidates to be on-site in Phoenix, AZ on a part-time basis.

Your future duties and responsibilities• Prepare and manage project timelines, scope documents and other project documentation• Develop, measure and monitor project execution plan• Communicate project progress and escalate key decisions, issues, risks and opportunities• Arbitrate and resolve issues, conflict and interface problems within the project team and between functional partners and stakeholders• Effective project management for process/technology-related activities and understanding of related dependencies• Effective vendor management (e.g., implementation partner, third-party systems integrators)• Complete business process mapping and engineering• Manage and build relationships with external partners, as appropriate.• Represent project at required internal and external meetings to assure that priorities are communicated and understood, and that progress/delays/issues are reported.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role The following skills are critical for success in this role:• 8-10 years of project management experience in the Life Sciences industry• 5-7 years of project financial management• Experience with vendor management experience• Experience with change management processes (e.g., stakeholder analysis, impact study)• Experience with process automation systems, CSV or quality manufacturing• Strong stakeholder management skills• Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite• PMP Certification is preferred, not required
