Position: Sr. SharePoint Application Developer

Location: Hybrid - Phoenix, AZ 85034

Duration: 06 Months+ The City of Phoenix, Aviation Department is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to augment the Technology division’s Business Applications and GIS team. This position will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions for the Aviation department’s SharePoint intranet. The ideal candidate would be a passionate, and curious problem solver with SharePoint Online and SharePoint on premises experience. A qualified candidate will have advanced knowledge of C#, .NET and possess good communication skills. This position will be leading the effort of migrating the existing SharePoint 2010 platform to SharePoint Online. Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of .NET development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with SharePoint development, customization, and administration.
  • Experience in migrating from legacy SharePoint to SharePoint online, including the use of migration tools, such as ShareGate.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid telecommute position requiring in-office few days a week.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in interpreting business and user requirements and providing IT solutions.
  • Proven ability to analyze dependencies of the current business processes within a business unit or project areas.
  • Proven ability to design, define, and adhere to excellent customer support processes.
  • Proven ability to focus on customer needs and deliver results.
  • Strong desire to learn new technologies and be adaptive to new tools.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid telecommute position requiring in-office few days a week.

Preferred Skills:
  • 3+ years of working in with MS InfoPath.
  • 3+ years of experience with NITRO forms.
  • 3+ years of experience working with PowerApps.
  • Experience with .NET Core.
