Envision Your Experience

As the State Approvals Manager, you are responsible for the overall management of Imagine Learning’s state approvals for online content along with various other state and third-party reviews. Key responsibilities include management and development of content to put forward responses for state approvals for online providers/courses. This includes management of the internal team, writing content and coordination with subject experts and other departments to ensure a comprehensive and accurate response.

• Manages the submission process to submit online courses/provider approvals
• Becomes an internal expert of company product offerings and services
• Demonstrates understanding of curriculum, alignments, and the K-12 education market
• Coordinates with subject specialists and writes response narrative as needed
• Manages long term calendar to project manage state and third-party reviews
• Works with legal department to ensure compliance with all required documents and forms
• Communicates with state DOE’s and school districts within specific guidelines, to acquire information needed to complete successful responses
• Maintains records of approvals
• Coordinates with other teams as needed for information gathering/sharing related to approvals
• Completes all required internal and external reporting and communication with other internal teams.

This is a regular, full-time position, based out of your home office (must be in the U.S.).

Share Your Expertise

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required, preferably in business, sales, marketing, or education
• 5-10 years’ experience with k-12 curriculum company and/or state approvals at state or district level
• K-12 curriculum knowledge in math, ELA, or science preferred
• Exceptional communication skills and a team player mindset
• Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to effectively multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Editorial skills that lead to error-free submissions
• Strong reporting and presentation skills
• Advanced level proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of CRM systems a plus.
