We can ONLY consider your application if you have:

1: Bachelor of Science (BS) in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline; or a Master's of Science.2: Experience in performing a wide variety of classical and finite element analyses.3: US Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (government-related work)4: Experience in performing a variety of classical and finite element analysis solution types. 5: Experience with the following software tools: FEMAP and NASTRAN is preferred.6: A complete understanding and application of solid mechanics principles, concepts, practices, and standards

Duties and Responsibilities== Analyze, research and develop structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, equipment and maintenance designs. == Analyze damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. == Analyze, researches, and develops structural engineering specifications for metallic, non-metallic and composite structures in all phases of the product life cycle from preliminary design to sustainment.== Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue, general FEA, and material science== Develop solutions to a variety of complex structural problems.== Analysis of the structures could include loads development and dynamics, stress, stability, fatigue, and thermal assessment.== Additional work responsibilities may include task planning, conducting technical peer reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.
