1: Bachelor's degree in STEM 2: 10+ years of experience with 5 years as an Ultrasonic Level III (15 years of experience with High school Diploma)3: Level 3 certification Ultrasonic Testing (ASNT, NAS-410 (certification will be verified).4: Experience in Ultrasonic Phased Array and Time Flight Diffraction technology. Experience shall include inspection of composite materials.5: 5+ years of experience inspecting composite structures using ultrasonic phased array technology.6: The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to work with minimal oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment, providing insight and solutions to complicated technical issues.7: Ability to articulate concepts and concerns to technical and non-technical professionals.8: Ability to obtain and maintain Active DoD Clearance per business requirements9: Ability to work with minimum supervision and present a professional company image to both internal and external customers is essential.

We are looking for someone to join the Launch Vehicles team as an experience Sr. Principle Nondestructive Test Engineer knowledgeable in aerospace and/or military NDT requirements and developing unique nondestructive inspection techniques, methods, and procedures.

The NDT Engineer will report directly to the Supplier Quality Engineering Manager.

DESIRED (not required) SKILLS::: 10+ years of documented hours as an NDT Level 3 inspector in at least one or more NDT methods; in order of preference: Ultrasonic (UT), Radiographic (RT), Neutron Radiography (NR), Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Visual (VT), RECORDS REQUIRED.:: Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, and other Quality / auditing / accreditation systems.:: Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, aviation or inspection.:: Multiple Level III ASNT certifications.

Duties and Responsibilities== Perform inspections of various composite structures in support of development, production startup, MRB, or other activities, as required== Review and approve radiographic and neutron radiography images of various energetic and non-energetic devices== Responsible to ensure suppliers are compliant with imposed engineering/industry requirements through periodic review of supplier NDT processes== Assist with the design, fabrication & qualification of inspection processes== Write technique sheets, procedures, including SWI and reports, as required== Assist with the design, fabrication & qualification of defect standards== Assist with training & certification of inspection personnel== Provide inspection cost estimates== Support failure investigations
