Surface Grind Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Adhere to standard machining practices while complying with all company standards i.e. Safety, qualityRestore parts to blueprint or MOT dimensionsProper set-up of all work holding fixtures, jigs, and inspection measuring equipmentDocumenting travelers after operations performed i.e. record measured dimensions and stamp operation upon completion.Maintain production standards and qualityRegular attendance and punctualityAdhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical StandardsEnsures compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirementsMaintain close tolerancesProficiency in grinding nickel plating, chrome plating, plasma spray, titanium and tungsten carbideAbility to select proper grinding wheel grades based on material application.Preventative maintenance of grinder machinerySupport, maintain and improve 5s standardsUnderstand and adhere to KPI boards and daily flow requirementsWork to MOS standards in placeTraining of other personnel on particular jobsPerforming other tasks in the facility, as neededRead and understand blueprints and/or sketches.Ability to use Measuring tools, calipers, micrometers, and height gagesInterface with product engineering as required
