Serves as a liaison between hospital departments, personnel, physician offices and assists with problem resolution and coordinates and organizes the surgery scheduling process. Serves as a Lead Surgery Scheduler for assigned YRMG clinic. Assists with training new and current Surgery Scheduler staff and providing support. Performs audits of workflows and processes within assigned YRMG clinics. Performs training and support for Medical Receptionist and Surgery Scheduling at assigned YRMG clinics as needed. Create, develop and maintain education material for all incoming YRMG employees. Will support in all areas of Surgery Scheduling and Medical receptionist tasks as required.QualificationsRequired:3 years administrative experience with scheduling and training staff3 years experience with insurance authorization requests and scheduling patients with surgery and office appointments.High School Diploma or equivalent.Excellent communication skills. Ability to use a computer. Strong organizational skills. Ability to participate as a member of a team; and reliability and punctuality.
