Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems and Network Administrator to join the existing IT Infrastructure team to help maintain our complex hybrid datacenter as well as support Ambra's and Intelerad's corporate IT needs. You will report to the Manager of IT. This position will be located out of the Phoenix, AZ area. It will require onsite data center support as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and Track IT Inventory in Asset Management Software
  • Manage user accounts in Email, Active Directory, etc
  • Manages Service Requests and Issues within a ticketing system
  • Training or directing users on the correct use of software and hardware within the system
  • Remain up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
  • System/Network Monitoring.
  • Hardware and software provisioning, installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience monitoring network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability using SNMP/WMI/PowerShell/SSH/etc
  • Experience configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
  • Experience performing network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations

Qualifications

  • Passionate interest in system administration to include system maintenance, workstation support, networking traffic monitoring and optimization.
  • Knowledge of Windows server like DNS, DHCP, Active Directory
  • 5+ years Systems and Network administration experience
  • Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server/Desktop and Mac OS
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking
  • Knowledge of datacenter operations
  • Must have ability to install and neatly manage copper, CAT 5/6, fiber and other network cable/connector types.
  • Experience supporting 24/7/365 environments
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Knowledge of enterprise antivirus/anti-malware products
  • Perform Patch management tasks for corporate end user devices
  • Documentation Skills
  • CCNA, Network+, and Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Certifications

Also Desired, but not required:

  • Perform server installs, drives, switches, routers, ladder racks, cages and cabinets within a datacenter environment.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and modify information systems so that they operate effectively.
