Job Description:

Job Roles / Responsibilities:

As an Application Portfolio Analyst, you will work closely with the Application Portfolio Manager to support both business as usual (BAU) tasks and strategic initiatives as it relates to managing SVB's business application portfolio. With the rapid growth and visibility of the program, you will be expected to often navigate 'gray' areas and take the initiative in researching unknown territory as we continually mature the program. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Serving as a backup to Application Portfolio Manager
  • Managing ServiceNow request queue to ensure requests are completed in timely manner. Includes creation of ad hoc reports
  • Providing operational support / training to internal business partners and application teams as it relates to managing business application inventory in system of record
  • Facilitating meetings. Includes creation of presentations and socialization of meeting notes/action items
  • Producing monthly metrics
  • Managing Application Portfolio Management (APM) stories in JIRA. Includes the story updates, creation of test cases, and user testing
  • Leading APM standups, providing sprint demos during biweekly Sprint Reviews and participating in Sprint Retrospectives
  • Leading APM regression testing during ServiceNow version upgrades
  • Identifying process and tool improvements. Support implementation (i.e. requirement gathering, testing, documentation, training)
  • Identifying documentation needs to ensure documentation is always current
  • Supporting biannual data certification campaigns
  • Tracking compliance to policies and procedures and resolving or escalating any compliance issues

Skills
  • Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment, a self-starter
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; troubleshooting & analytical skills; and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven organizational and time-management skills, including prioritizing multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical skills showing attention to detail with a strong customer focus
  • Excellent developing and delivering presentations skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing teams and effectively getting things done through others
  • Strong communication skills for both conveying process and understanding customer need
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow not required but is beneficial

\nBase Pay:$87,570.00 - $116,370.00

Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
