IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Tableau Developer to join our customer in Phoenix AZ. This is an Remote position. Please find below additional details about this job. Job Description:The Client maintains multiple in-house developed MIS systems such as; Admissions Portal, Acuity Based Staffing, Quality Management, and other applications; Vendor hosted applications; such as the Avatar Electronic Health Record System and others. These applications provide a wealth of information which management requires to develop data driven policies and decisions. This position will work with program areas to develop new, high-quality Tableau data dashboards that meet the needs of leadership and selected business units. The position will help to identify, document, and apply best practices and standardized procedures for data visualization and data sharing using Tableau.They will help to support, train and build the community of other Tableau users throughout the Arizona State Hospital. They will work with the agency's core Tableau team to support work planning processes for content maintenance, security, participate in data governance activities, and will help plan for the continued use of Tableau. This position will work closely with program product owners, business analysts, quality assurance, internal and contracted development resources, and project management to ensure that the customers’ needs are forefront in the deliverables. Skills Required-- SQL, Oracle, and familiarity with writing database queries

- Ability to integrate brand guidance and best practices to develop templates, and deliver visual analytics which are professional, presentable, and easy to understand
- Able to work with internal and external customers to gather and validate use cases and business requirements in support of Tableau dashboard design and functionality
- Can apply best practices in data analytics and visualization and verify that standards for quality and confidentiality are met
- Understands and participates in data stewardship and data governance activities
- Leverage skills and experience to offer innovative solutions to make use of Tableau for delivering value to the business
Experience Required-- Experience with or proficiency in Tableau Software
- Has been engaged in work planning processes for creating and maintaining Tableau dashboards and Tableau server content in an effective and efficient way
- Has worked on a team in the design, development, and delivery of end-user training and associated resource materials for Tableau developers or other agency program staff
Education Required- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience Experience Preferred- - Experience with Hospital, Finance, HR, or Staffing data
- Experience working in a government or clinical setting
Education Preferred- - Tableau or visual analytics certifications
- Business analysis, or similar credentials
Additional Information-While this position has the option to telework, they will be expected to be on-site as required by business demands, especially during onboarding. ASH is an in-patient psychiatric facility, and while interacting with patients is not a requirement of the position, personnel may from time to time pass through areas where patients may be present. Pursuant to CMS guidelines, staff are required to be current on COVID-19 vaccination, and will be required to provide proof of vaccination at or before the start date. Staff will be required to complete a blood test at the date of start to ensure the safety of the employee and the patient population. This is provided at no cost by medical staff on site.
