We are looking for a technology guru, experienced in a variety of systems and platforms, who will help us to grow, prosper, and expand our contribution to the community. WE NEED SOMEONE TO BE OUR TECHNOLOGY MANAGER AND:

Oversee and manage Assistance League’s hardware and software. Provide oversight, troubleshooting, and technology support of computer operations, and related functions (communications, office systems, retail systems, activities, etc.)

YOU WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR (BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING):

Overseeing of our programs and platforms, including Office 365.

Developing implementation plans for new projects by coordinating processes.

Providing well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability.

Maintain and monitor network and IT infrastructure.

Supplying input to the annual budget.

Overseeing cyber security policy, disaster recovery, and alarm/camera systems.

Ensuring service support in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.

Providing technical support and training to employees and volunteers and troubleshooting technology issues.

Installing and updating company software as needed.

Undertaking special projects to include list management, etc.

Acting as the webmaster.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

Bachelor’s degree in computer science from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field.

Minimum of two years’ experience or equivalent.

Experience in Local and Wide Area Networks.

Extensive experience with personal computers and software applications.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to work under pressure.

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

HOURS: Approximately 30 hours per week
