Vintage Neon Sign Restoration Apprentice

Are you a hands-on person who loves old-school Americana and wants to learn a real trade? We’re looking for a hardworking apprentice to help in our vintage neon sign restoration shop at Mancave.ArtFactory.com .

This is an entry-level job where you’ll work directly with our Master Neon Craftsman and Glass Blowers, learning how to restore real vintage neon signs from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Cleaning old rusty signs etc,

Fabricating or repairing metal housing cans

Painting metal sign housing cans

Bead blasting and prepping for paint or patina

Assisting with light welding and fabrication (we’ll train you)

General shop cleanup and hands-on tasks are also a beginners job

Learn a rare, high-demand trade (this is the real deal)

Work in an air-conditioned, state-of-the-art shop as well as open air hot metal welding and blacksmithing shop

Be part of a team that restores museum-quality neon signs and other classics

Real growth potential—this can turn into a high-paying career

Requirements:

Must be in good physical health

Some electrical or mechanical know-how is a plus (but not required)

Willing to start on low training pay (minimum wage) while we invest in teaching you the skills of these lost arts as part of your starting pay

Positive patriotic attitude and strong work ethic

Looking for a long-term career, not just a temporary job
