Warehouse-Loading Monitor

Job Description

The Loading Monitorworks under minimal supervision at a customer site preparing tractor trailers to receive waste loads and overseeing the proper loading of non-hazardous waste onto tractor trailers.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Monitor the flow of waste being loaded inside tractor trailer.

· Instruct Driver when to move the tractor trailer to ensure evenly distributed loading of trailer.

· Complete log entries, recording times, weights, activities, and staff details.

· Responsible for maintaining clean work area by sweeping and power washing trailer interior and surrounding bay(s) as needed.

· Place plastic liners inside empty trailers prior to loading of waste.

· Transport delivered liners to storage area.

· Follow all health and safety and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures.

· Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

· Willingness and ability to work a variable schedule which may include holidays and weekends (scheduled in advance)

· Willingness and ability to wear company provided personal protection equipment including eye protection, steel toed shoes, hard hat, gloves, etc.

· Ability to climb stairs repeatedly throughout workday

· Willing and able to work in all climate conditions

· Ability to bend, stand, and traverse uneven surfaces

· Experience in environmental disposal

· Ability to deal politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers

· Ability to follow directions or instructions

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion

· Ability to work independently without immediate supervision

· Ability to use a computer to communicate, create, and access information
