This role will execute comprehensive violence prevention interventions and provide support to patient care teams before, during and after violent events. The Specialist will partner with clinicians and caregivers to conduct advanced patient screening and safety planning, conduct threat and risk assessments to recognize and assist security practitioners and other staff with potentially dangerous situations, facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, respond to WPV events to advocate for safe practices, assist in staff recovery, provide victim support, perform data collection, case tracking, and trend identification.This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship/ we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position.QualificationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree with three years of progressively responsible security experience or Associates degree with five years of progressively responsible security experience or HS/GED with seven years of progressively responsible security experience.Additional Experience and/or Qualifications: (Has Achieved Competency in the Following Areas, Job Knowledge and Additional Considerations):Must demonstrate strong ability in leadership, personal interaction, time management, and project administration, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.Licensure/Certification Required:(For applicable positions) Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation required within two years of date of employment.
