Accounting Manager, Inventory/Cost

OpportunityThe Accounting Manager manages, and coordinates activities of Accounting Department personnel engaged in calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain and record financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records and lead cost accounting efforts.   Key Areas of ResponsibilityRecommends and implements plans for accounting. Primarily responsible for cost accounting and inventory control.Compiles composite reports from individual reports of subordinates required by management or government agencies.Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, assigns duties, and expedites workflow for accounting.Examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.Researches and develops standard costing for all products.Develop, review and maintain processes and procedures to improve efficiency of system and subordinates.Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and year end close and compile monthly financial package.Coordinate and oversee yearly audit of financial statements.
