Job Description Summary
Maintains the inventory of MRxM clinical algorithms. Responsible for coordinating the timing of implementation(s), revisions, revision quality, documentation of changes, and coordinating with IT on release.Creates new and updates existing MRxM clinical algorithms based upon relevant source data (e.g. MRxM clinical criteria, client criteria, Medicare LCD, etc.). Provides support for clinical client inquiries and internal partners. Complies with all standard operating procedures, policies, guidelines, and work instructions.
Job Description
Collaborates with other clinical personnel in the development and maintenance of clinical algorithms. Participates in and supports the clinical committees (e.g. DPD, TAC, P&T, VAC, etc.) as applicable. Communicates revisions with relevant internal partners. Creates customized Client clinical algorithms and coordinates their release with IT.
May participate in formulary development and management.
Maintains a comprehensive inventory of all clinical algorithms, history of revisions, and rationale regarding algorithm management criteria.
Collaborates with Account Management as well as the Implementation and Clinical teams regarding new Client implementations as well as expansions to existing business; including clinical projects as determined by business needs. Collaborating with Clinical Operations, IT, Quality, and Compliance as needed for program support.
Client support, including but not limited to, responding to inquiries, customization of MRxM clinical algorithms, education, QBR support, clinical meetings, audit assistance, special projects, etc.
Supports clinical policy development and maintenance as determined by business needs.
Adheres to organizational policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and standards of practice which govern the profession of pharmacy. Maintains pharmacy records in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Maintains clinical skills and knowledge of pharmacotherapy by reviewing the literature, continuing education and any company provided in-services. Completes all mandatory company provided on-line courses. Attends and completes all employee development courses.
Performs other duties as required.
