- Lead and manage all engineering projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Work closely with other departments, including construction, to ensure that all projects are executed smoothly and efficiently.
- Develop project reports and presentations to communicate project progress and results to stakeholders.
- Utilize CAD software to design and create plans, drawings, and topographical and geological maps.
- Oversee the preparation of construction plans and specifications, ensuring that they meet all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage a team of engineers and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure that all engineering projects are in compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a Director of Engineering role or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of construction management, engineering, project reports, CAD, PE, and industrial engineering.
- Experience with design and planning of engineering projects, including the preparation of construction plans and specifications.
- Proficient in the use of CAD software to create plans, drawings, and maps.
- Experience managing a team of engineers and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex engineering issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
