We have created a banking software for financial institutions and we are currently looking for a Endpoint Security Engineer who is driven professional to provide world-class endpoint security to employees and customers across different platforms and hardware. This exciting role requires curiosity, creativity, critical thinking skills, superior attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is well-rounded, has a strong infrastructure security, vulnerability and patch management, and mitigation background, and has experience in Linux and windows operating systems and computer networks. The ability to participate in an on-call rotation is required.

Job Details

Required Education and Experience
  • 5-7 yrs. of IT security experience or equivalent skills
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Willingness to learn and continually improve skills.
  • Proven Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) experience, CrowdStrike preferred
  • Strong understanding of security threats, tactics, procedures, and remediation.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge
  • Understanding of cyber security and IT disciplines, including networking, operating systems, authentication protocols, general enterprise network architecture, and security incident response
  • Understanding of joint enterprise technology purposes and logging capabilities, including firewalls, Active Directory, antivirus/EDR, IDS/IPS, proxies, and cloud platforms
  • Understanding of log aggregation or correlation technology platforms, such as Manage Engine Event Log Analyzer, Splunk, etc
  • Experience with patching systems such as WSUS, SCCM, ManageEngine Desktop Central, Datto, etc
  • Experience with creating process documents and meeting customer SLAs, etc
  • Analytical thinker and self-starter
  • Ability to Manage Time and work within given timelines to meet milestone dates
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment and maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers
  • Ability to follow oral and written technical instructions
  • Ability to work quickly and decisively under pressure
  • Willingness to research, learn and implement new technology
  • Willingness to learn new skills - self-starter
  • Willingness to build a new process from the ground up
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of the banking and banking services industry is preferred, not required
  • CompTIA Security+ or similar certification preferred
