Description We are in the banking industry, located in Lowell, Arkansas, and currently seeking a meticulous File Clerk to join our team. This role mainly involves maintaining and organizing files, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting our administrative functions. The position presents an opportunity for long-term contract employment, providing an ideal platform for those with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills.Responsibilities: Efficiently sort, organize, and file documents, records, and correspondence in both physical and electronic formats. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of files, including labeling, indexing, and retrieval. Assist with the preparation, copying, and scanning of documents, ensuring proper storage and destruction of obsolete files. Input and update information into databases or spreadsheets as required. Provide support to other administrative staff by handling requests for information and assisting with various office tasks as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding file management and confidentiality. Monitor and manage file supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as necessary. Handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality. Support the administrative functions by processing customer applications and maintaining accurate customer records. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a File Clerk will be a plus. Familiarity with office procedures and basic accounting principles. Working knowledge of office devices and processes. Very good knowledge of MS Office. Excellent communication skills. Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities. Document Scanning skills are required. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Attention to detail and accuracy in performance of duties is crucial. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have legal authorization to work in the country of employment. A professional appearance and courteous manner are required at all times. Must be able to handle physical requirements, including lifting, bending, and moving files. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
