Your patients are critically ill and unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life-threatening disease. You must be able to multitask, wearing many hats daily, including patient advocate, family advisor, and, in some cases, a friend. You excel in these roles because you understand that your talent for nursing and compassion for others complement one another. Starting rate of pay is $40.75/hr + differentials nights/wknd.We recognize the intensive care unit can be physically and emotionally exhausting. You are continually monitoring high acuity patients and need to act quickly should the slightest change occur. You sometimes feel drained, but forget those feelings when your patients show signs of improvement, thanks to youResponsibilitiesDeliver quality patient care in a fast-paced critical settingExcel coordinating care for multiple patients at a timeExcellent time management skills; maximizing slow periods to complete tasks during your shiftFostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their familiesQualificationsGraduate of an accredited nursing programActive Registered Nursing License in Arkansas or a current RN license that allows you to practice in the state of ArkansasBasic Life Support (BLS) or obtained within 90 days of hireACLS, PALS must be obtained within 12 months of hire; will be acquired and maintainedNursing excellencestarts with you.Are you a career fit with our CommonSpirit Health culture?
