Java Tech Lead

Role: Java Tech Lead Duration: Long Term Contract: Remote Tech Lead Daily: 50% architecture and design 50% hands-on with the sprints and coding (have to be very strong with coding) Responsibilities: Responsible for leading multiple teams of developers while taking ownership of their code, creating architect solutions on the cloud, guiding cloud system designs, working with multiple stakeholders to advise designs, and understanding what needs to be prioritized depending on business needs. Come from a large-scale enterprise environment with the ability to move fast-paced while working on multiple team projects at once and working with a heavy amount of data. This person will need to have high-level communications skills, the ability to be hands-on to help implement code, and have an extreme desire to learn from one of the most innovative areas of the business. Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools):

• Java 8
• Microservices Architecture Spring 5.0 / Springboot
• Reactive Programming
• AWS/Azure (Azure is highly preferred)
• Event Hub
• Cosmos is highly preferred, but they are ok with other NoSQL
• Cosmos is the Azure specific DB
• Testing Not where they want to be in terms of maturity. They are trying to get to fully automated testing, so people with a good grasp of this will be great for the team.
• Have to do some manual end to end testing with their clients Want to get this automated
• DevOps CI/CD Candidates have to have good, modern application development skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with at least 3 years of related work

• Spark / Scala
• Kafka (soon to be decommissioned)
