Manufacturing Support Specialist

This role is based onsite for daily in-person work. This position involves supporting production processes, overseeing the inventory and organization of tools, parts, and equipment used in a manufacturing as well as working directly with suppliers and vendors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:Data Management: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records and documentation.Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and production teams to implement process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing environment.Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all parts and materials, ensuring stock levels meet production needs.Ordering and Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers to order parts, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery.Organization: Implement and maintain an organized parts room layout for efficient access and storage of materials.Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to understand their needs and ensure they have the necessary parts available.Reporting: Generate reports on inventory usage, turnover rates, and stock levels for management review.
