General Oversight of Contract Resources

Coordinates job planning and resource movement of distribution contractors

Works closely with contract companies to provide feedback on safety, compliance, and performance issues.

Review and approve contractor invoices.

Work with work management to insure that contractor schedules are accurate and projects are complete and closed out in a timely manner.

Ensure all work meets company standards and in service dates while ensuring that all workmanship complies with Entergy’s safety guidelines and practices.

Have extensive knowledge of a working distribution system.

Help to prepare and carry out switching orders for the distribution system.

Work with Engineering, Vegetation, DOC and other departments in seeing that all facilities are constructed and maintained according to company specifications, standards and policies.

Work emergency or storm restoration in other areas as needed. Read and interpret construction prints.

Work with external and internal customers.
