Responsible for the supervision and scheduling of the Production crew in the Operations group, maintaining water treatment facilities, and safety practices- Providing safe potable water to the community- This position is also responsible for promoting, training, and execution of various corporate initiatives.Accountabilities

Reporting Water Treatment Operator in Charge to the State of Arkansas

Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annual- Mandated State reporting ( BMR’s, DEQ, etc.)

Maintaining water treatment facilities, wells, reservoirs, sample stations- all related appurtenances

Scheduling plant maintenance, repairs, and PM’s.

Working Supervisor- Must Operate for one complete shift every month

Know and abide by company’s safety policy and procedures.

Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner

Training and development of the production crew

Budgeting for CIP and O&M

Approval of time sheets, time off request, P-cards and invoices

Ensuring water treatment and related facilities are in compliance with local, state and federal regulations

Responsible for making thorough analysis and decisions of job details and emergencies.

Organize, lead, and direct Liberty staff as required

Organize, lead, and direct contractors working for Liberty.

Reports and communicates to his or her supervisor on matters regarding the condition and maintenance needs of production facilities, daily activities, needed repairs, hazards, and challenges.

All other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or higher-ranking individuals in the Liberty hierarchy.

Education and Experience

General educational knowledge normally acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

Knowledge of advanced potable water treatment and how it flows through the distribution system.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

5 years of experience in operating water treatment plants, wells, pumps, and reservoirs with progressive responsibility

Valid ADH Grade 4 Treatment and Grade 4 Distribution

Be able to start-up, shutdown, and safely operate water production equipment

Must be able to meet established goals and deadlines and with minimal supervision

Have effective verbal and written skills to communicate in English with internal and external customers under normal and adverse conditions

Must have a high degree of accuracy

Must maintain a professional appearance as a front-line representative of the Company

Physical: Ability to drive to job site, walk for extended periods on flat and uneven terrain, climb stairs, bend and stoop. Ability to lift 50lbs.

Ability to work for extended periods of time over uneven terrain in inclement weather

Ability to read and interpret maps.

Computer skills and understanding of MS office package- Word, Excel, Power point, Teams- ability to lean SAP, CLICK, SAM / related company software.
