Refrigeration Controls Application EngineerThe Refrigeration Application Engineer will be responsible for the design of Novar Building Refrigeration automation systems, as well as the development of procedures used in the installation, commissioning, and documentation of controls projects.
Develop site-specific programming to meet project requirements
Interface with the Refrigeration Engineering Team, End Users and Program Managers in project definition, and issue resolution
Read and interpret Architectural, Electrical and Mechanical drawings
YOU MUST HAVE
High School/GED with applicable field or industry experience
2+ years of experience working with building automation controls, including installation, maintenance, or technical support
WE VALUE
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Industrial/Computer Science, or Associates degree with 1 year applicable experience or 5 years’ applicable field experience
Comfortable with highly detailed and repetitive work
General understanding of industry standard networking protocols, including LAN, Bacnet, Modbus, etc.
2 years’ experience with commercial HVAC, or Refrigeration
2 years’ experience programming & configuring Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems
Working knowledge of HVAC & Refrigeration algorithms
Ability to read and accurately interpret mechanical drawings
Ability to work in a cross-functional, team oriented environment
Analytical skills to critically evaluate information from multiple sources
Attention to detail and quality a must
Ability to work overtime during the busy season
Tridium Niagara Framework Certification a plus
