job detailsWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager Consultant to help us optimize our maintenance operations, reduce equipment downtime, and enhance the overall efficiency of our plant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in maintenance management and be capable of mentoring our current maintenance manager to sustain and implement these programs effectively. Temp to hire position May require travel to the Richardson, TX locationsalary: $80 - $100 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: AssociateResponsibilitiesEquipment Downtime Reduction (60%)
Conduct a thorough analysis to identify the root causes of equipment downtime.
Develop and implement strategies to reduce equipment downtime by 60%.
Provide actionable recommendations and solutions to sustain reduced downtime.
Yearly Maintenance Schedule Creation
Develop a comprehensive yearly maintenance schedule that includes planned downtime for repairs, maintenance routines, and preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
Shift the current reactive maintenance approach to a proactive, scheduled maintenance routine to prevent equipment failures.
Reporting System Integration
Consolidate existing data from multiple systems into SAP.
Develop and implement a reporting system within SAP to track critical KPIs, including downtime, costs, uptime, PM adherence, and maintenance schedule compliance.
Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program Overhaul
Review and refresh the current PM program to ensure all necessary tasks are captured.
Identify and implement daily PM tasks that operators should perform to maintain equipment health.
Ensure the PM program is comprehensive and up-to-date for all machinery.
