Tyson Foods, Inc. has an opening for a Sr. Developer Applications in Springdale, AR.

Design, implement, and evangelize end-to-end DevOps process and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) architecture. Design, implement, administer, and troubleshoot public cloud-based resources, particularly within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). Interact with internal business and technical teams to outline requirements and to execute and deliver secure, functional, and scalable cloud solutions. Document activities and create revisions of specific documentation for knowledge repositories and correspondence. Provide on-call support and problem resolution for CI/CD pipelines and public cloud services. Work with internal stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements; this may involve troubleshooting developers' code to help resolve deployment problems. Develop infrastructure code and templates to automate provisioning and ensure consistency and efficiency. Identify improvements in cloud resource management to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines to continually improve the operational effectiveness of cloud services. Be an evangelist for cloud adoption within the organization and stay up to date on cloud computing services and trends. Telecommuting permitted two days per week.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field, and three years of experience in information technology, software development, or related. In the alternative, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field, and one year of experience in information technology, software development, or related.

Must also have work experience with:

  • At least one of the following Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Bitbucket;
  • At least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Golang, or C#;
  • Scripting such as Groovy or Shell;
  • Kubernetes and Docker;
  • Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform; and
  • Communicating technical visions to developer community and obtaining buy-in.
