This is achieved, in part, by providing leadership and management, project development, execution and operational support for Power Delivery. This includes work and asset management technology projects such as AMI, work and asset mgmt. (Click, Maximo), Distribution Design, Outage management and future Grid Tech portfolio projects such Automated Asset Management, Capital Planning Tools, and data maintenance.The Sr. Mgr., Work and Asset Tech will establish and maintain the road map and overall strategy for operational challenges and solutions, system performance, and life cycle management of Power Delivery applications and technology. This position develops the roadmap with input from the Operating Companies, other portions from the Business, and IT.The Sr. Mgr., Work and Asset Tech leads the development of strategies, processes, and procedures for work and asset mgmt. tech solutions. Additionally, this manager will be responsible for communicating strategies, plans, associated progress and issues to leadership within Entergy’s operating companies, to regulatory agencies, and to community leaders within Entergy’s operating company territories.Job Duties/Responsibilities

Provide safety leadership by exemplifying strong safety culture for others to follow.

Develops execution roadmap and strategy as projects are approved for deployment. Build budgets and evaluate risk. Participate in benchmarking and self-assessments to improve process and system performance.

Manages and supports the project implementation team, including external vendors. Coordinates with other Entergy workgroups to ensure work and asset mgmt. tech projects are in alignment and supports other major initiatives. Provides leadership and oversight to manage and support the day-to-day operations and strategy of Power Delivery - Grid Tech deployment and operations.

Leads development and execution of strategies and procedures to evaluate, test, program, troubleshoot, analyze, manage assets, manage version control, solutions that are an integral part of Entergy’s overall multi-state, multi-operating company grid modernization program. This includes Performing Testing; Functional Testing; Programming; Driving understanding of "cause & effect" scenarios via development of protocols, testing theories, software testing of smart grid assets, systems and solutions.

Maintain and operate systems solutions develop in projects, supporting defect and enhancement request.

Identifies Resource Requirements, forecast work, fill, and maintain positions to support project requirements.

Reporting Value Realization from project performance and benefits tracking to insure value from Grid tech projects.

Minimum RequirementsMinimum education required of the positionBachelor’s Degree strongly preferred (Engineering or related field) or equivalent work experience.Minimum experience required of the position10 years’ experience in utility business operations, project management, engineering, and technology. Work experience as business or team lead on strategic engineering projects. Experience with both existing and new distribution and transmission operating principles, systems, processes and equipment required.Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position

Thorough understanding of asset mgmt., work mgmt., advanced metering, AMI/DA communications network programs, and standards.

Knowledge in establishing processes and procedures that meet regulatory and standards requirements.

Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse work group.

Strong ability to apply broad industry and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance.
