We have earned top patient safety ratings from Leapfrog and was recently named as one of the Nation’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals in Fortune and PINC AI.If you are committed to social justice, health equity, and prepared to deliver care in new, innovative ways, you belong with us.ResponsibilitiesVerifies requisition and patient I.D. bracelet prior to transporting pt. to departmentTransports patients to and from the appropriate care areas using the appropriate method of transportation.Maintains the cleanliness of carts, stretchers, wheelchairs and other transportation equipment, and monitors equipment to ensure proper working order.Assists staff in the movement of patients from stretchers, wheel chairs, or beds.Complies with Hospital/Department/Unit policies.Documents activities consistent with Hospital/Department/Unit Guidelines to include keeping accurate logs of patient transport.Replenishes supplies used in transporting patients; Maintain organized holding area including stretchers, wheelchairs, slide boards, linens, and oxygen tanks.Understands process for reporting damaged equipment to Bio-Med (applies red stickers to damaged or broken equipment).QualificationsHigh School diploma or GEDPay Range$14.08 - $19.36 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
