Akkodis is recruiting for a
Project Engineer for a large aerospace manufacturer in Long Beach, CA. This is a contract, hybrid (TU-TH in office) with a pay range of $69 - $78 an hour.Qualification and Job Description:1. - Bachelors degree with a minimum of 10 years related job experience, Masters degree with a minimum of 8 years related job experience, or Doctorate of Science degree with a minimum of 6 years related job experience from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics is required2. - Significant experience in a full-time position that led or participated in the execution of projects that developed software and/or hardware, managed scope according to a Statement of Work, and was responsible for providing customer status & briefings.3. - Excellent technical leadership and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work in a team environment within a complex organization4. - Expertise in Agile development process and industry tools to manage Agile projects5. - Expertise in cost management methodologies, configuration management processes, and supplier procurement and managementPreferred Skills/Qualifications:1. - Software development (coding) and or testing background2. - Previous experience working on government contracts3. - Previous experience leading projects from start to finish4. - Ability to create and manage project schedules5. - Wide range of skills to work with technical team members/leads, internal management, and end user customer to expertly navigate a project to successIf you are interested in this Project Engineering role in Long Beach, CA then please click APPLY NOW.
