6687 - SQL Server Database Developer

Staff Tech is looking for someone specializing in database design, development, and maintenance of these business applications to support the AIS in meeting customer and business needs. The qualified Senior Software Engineers will be responsible for developing, maintaining, migrating and tuning Structured Query Language (SQL) Server database and reporting environments.

• Designing and implementing data extracts using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Azure Data Factory.
• Developing Reports for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Server (SSRS) and Microsoft PowerBI.
• Writing stored procedures (T-SQL), debugging, optimization and database performance tuning and monitoring.
• All phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) for database development, report writing and report administration.
• Business intelligence tools like Visual Studio Business Intelligence Module or Microsoft Power BI.
• Data warehouse concepts and architecture.
• Producing requirements documents, systems architecture and interfaces, data model diagrams, configuration management documents, and procedural manuals.
• Utilizing Microsoft Azure Data warehouse solutions (Azure Synapse/Data Warehouse, Azure Data Factory, Azure DataBricks, Azure Data Lake).
• Developing solutions with KQL, Python, Scala, Spark
• Using Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure Dev Ops
