Account Specialist

Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Specialist to join our team. The Account Specialist will be responsible for managing accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and providing excellent customer service to our stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and timely.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding account-related inquiries.

Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Account Specialist, Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk, or similar role.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred but not required.
